Dear Eric & Shan,

I wanted to thank you both again for the wonderful time you showed our group during our stay at Northwood’s Lodge in July. I have had the pleasure of going to Alaska three other times on fishing trips but must say our trip to your lodge was by far my best experience and definitely exceed any of my expectations.

Your facilities are wonderful, if not perfect, for a group of our size providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere that encourages good interaction with both your staff and with our customers. Of special note were the meals you served us that were nothing short of outstanding.

My favorite part of the trip, however was the amazing fishing experience we had with your friendly and knowledgeable guides. These guys were terrific in both personality and in their ability to get us on the fish. I have dreamed since I was a child of going to Alaska and catching fish until my arms got tired. I’ve read hundreds of fishing articles about fishermen that were able to do just that but was beginning to wonder if I would ever live to have this type of experience based on my past trips to Alaska. Well now I can say that I have experienced this type of fishing, thanks to Northwoods Lodge. Those Sockeye Salmon are amazing fighters and have proven to be just as good at the dinner table.

Any6 time you need a reference for someone who wants to know about your lodge and the fishing, let me know, as Northwoods is now my top destination for Alaska Fishing! I am planning on coming for another visit with some of my fishing buddies next summer. Thanks again for making our trip one we will always remember.
